It's done! Wooh! And he is finally going out of his room! Adventure avaits~ At least after some pages of worldbuilding stuff. x3 It's about time that you guys get to know something about the setting of this comic.
I'm not as happy about the layout and lineart as I was with the last page, but I think my coloring is better. Mostly thanks to me reading up on how to color comics effectively. I didn't know flats were that useful, wow. o:

That said, I've gotta do better than one page every six months. cx Been thinking about my life lately, and I realize that I really want to make a career out of doing art. A year ago, I thought "Hey, what if I could at least be a part-time artist?", and it opened up so many opportunities that I now realize that being a full-time artist isn't as impossible for me as it seemed before. It's strange that I didn't aknowledge that dream at all for such a long time. I think I've always just been afraid of making a decision about it, as failing at making a living as an artist would really hurt. But lately, I've realized that not even trying would hurt even more. So I'm going to start taking my art even more seriously, and build skills and a portfolio while I finish the last two years of my Industrial Design engineering master. (I'm finishing my degree just to prove to myself that I didn't quit because it was too hard, and also because I do learn useful stuff here c; )
It feels kinda good to have a goal in life, for once. c:
